Facebook has updated the messages inbox so you can customize how your messages look, view photos and videos easily, and send messages faster.

To view your messages inbox on facebook.com on your computer, click Messenger on the left.

In the new inbox, click  in the top left to:

• Go to settings
• See active contacts, message requests, archived threads, or unread threads
• Find help or report a problem

You still can do all the things you used to do in the old inbox, like:

• Create a new paragraph in a message by pressing control + return (Mac) or control + enter (PC)
• Search for messages
• Check your message requests
• Delete messages
